Question by Christine S: what are the best places to research for a tuscan themed room?
I’m looking to decorate my den and adjoining dining room in a tuscan theme, I’m having trouble researching the style and where to purchase great inexpensive furniture. Any suggestions?

OK now this is awsome if your willing to do it. I was in Rosarito Mexico one week end and they have a Rustic furniture passion.. all of it is very very cute and hand made for HALF OF WHAT YOU WOULD PAY HERE. Shipping isnt that much over there either. look into it.. maybe google will have something on the Rustic look..

helpful tip=. Tuscan= Rustic in the US.

Target Stores and Value City Stores may be a good place to look around – they have some “international” decorating stuff sometimes. Do a web search and find pictures for reference.

Tuscan style is absolutely beautiful, the main thing is the colors that you use and the accessories. Lots of wrought iron, natural stones, and vibrant colors. If you want to go inexpensive you can use wall color and accessories to get the feel you want without spending a lot of money on new furniture. There are many great web sites that will help, two of the best I found are listed as a source. Some inexpensive accessories can be found by contacting Home and Garden Party Designer.

My wife decided to work the “Hacienda feel” to our new home project, a friend gave us the idea to visit some stores at Rosarita, we got everitihng over there, and had some custom made stuff also! Here is a helpful website to help you on your Baja Journey http://www.rosarito.org, and the Baja furniture association website http://www.afamaro.org

Have fun!
